Walking With You on Your Journey

From the moment you enter our welcoming, private waiting room, you'll feel at home at New Beginnings. Our kind, responsive reception staff will check you in, answer any quesitons you might have, and create a warm, safe environment while you wait for your therapist. 

It's normal to feel nervous about beginning therapy, but we do our best to help you feel comfortable right away. Your first session with your therapist is spent getting to know each other while your therapist asks questions about your life, your relationships, and your struggles. Your therapist then creates a customized treatment plan to guide you toward achieving your therapy goals.

Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in your sessions, we promote change and growth by working together to discover what's keeping you stuck, learning healthy coping skills, and processing the difficult emotions that come up along the way.  Whatever it is you're struggling with, you don't have to face it alone!

Couples Therapy

We specialize in treating a wide variety of couple issues such as communication problems, in-law difficulties, life transitions, mixed faith marriages, and more. Each partner deserves to be heard, understood, and validated. Our emphasis is building a strong relationship with both you and your partner, so we can work through the problems keeping you stuck. We'll work together to develop healthy relationship skills and deep, mutual understanding so your relationship can thrive.

Community Outreach

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of low-cost support groups. Finding support and healing with others can be a powerful experience. 


We also provide free 30-minute community presentations by request.  If you would like us to present at your place of business, your religious congregation, community event, or other gathering, please reach out to us.  We are happy to  speak on a variety of mental, emotional, and relational health topics.  If you are interested in a longer presentation or panel, we offer customized presentations to suit your needs.

Therapy is for everyone. Most people who go to therapy are just like you, your family, friends, and neighbors. You wouldn't hesitate to go to a doctor or specialist if you were struggling with your physical health, so do the same with your mental, emotional, and relationship health. Therapy is an investment in the things that matter most in your life: The lifelong well-being of the ones you love...including yourself.


Individual Therapy

During your first individual session, we develop a plan for your treatment that best fits your individual needs. Whether you require sessions as often as two times a week or as little as once every month or two, we'll find a plan that works for you! We will provide a set of recommendations at the end of your first session for getting you feeling better as soon as possible. We discuss your financial situation so therapy doesn't become a financial strain or stress, but you still get the attention and direction you deserve. Individual therapy at New Beginnings is about what's best for you.
