Postpartum
Support Group

($120 total for 6 weeks)

This group is open to women who are preparing for pregnancy, expecting a child, or have recently welcomed a child into their family within the last few years. Both first-time mothers and seasoned mothers are welcome!

Body Image Improvement
Support Group

This group is open to women 18 years and older who are motivated to improve the relationship they have with their body.

Eating Disorder Support Group Facilitator
Julia Peterson, MSW, CSW
Julia graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters of Social Work. She previously worked as a staff member at Avalon Hills, an inpatient eating disorder treatment facility. She offers a safe space for clients to be heard, validated, and understood with the challenges and circumstances they are facing. She uses an integrative approach through evidenced based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She believes that you are the expert of your own life and as a therapist, she is here to advocate and support you in any way that she can.

Divorce Support Group Facilitator
Maria Lopez, Graduate Student Intern
Maria has worked with members of the divorced community in the legal and nonprofit fields. Her current full-time job in a law office has highlighted the need for women to find support during the unique struggles divorce can bring into their lives. As the child of a single mother, she knows the importance of finding a community during this time. Maria is currently working on her Master's Degree in Social Work at Boise State University. She hopes to provide a safe space to heal and thrive alongside individuals who understand what you are going through.

Faith Transition Support Group Facilitator
Ashley Bell, MMFT, LMFT
Ashley graduated from Utah State University with a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2020 and holds advanced clinical training in both EMDR for Trauma and Gottman Training for Couple Relationships. Ashley is a member of the Mormon Mental Health Association. MMHA is a secular professional association for ethical, research-based, culturally competent mental health services along the continuum of involvement of the broader Mormon spectrum and culture. Ashley is passionate about helping people find healing no matter where their path takes them!

Postpartum Support Group Co-Facilitator
Madeleine Pugmire, LCSW, PMH-C
Madeleine graduated from Utah Valley University in 2016 and completed her Master’s in Social Work at Utah State University in 2020. She has received advanced training from Postpartum Support International and is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist. As a mother of toddler twins she understands many of the challenges that come with being a new mom. Madeleine is passionate about helping other mothers overcome isolation and negative patterns to find connection, balance, growth, hope, and healing.

Postpartum Support Group Co-Facilitator
Amanda Crosland, CSW
Amanda graduated from Utah State University in 2021 with her Bachelor's in Social Work and received her Master's degree in Social Work from Boise State University in 2022. She is co-facilitating this amazing group for a second time and is looking forward to providing support, encouragement, and resources to expecting mothers and mothers of young infants. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of having a network of other mothers to heal and grow with.

Body Image Improvement Support Group Facilitator
Dr. Carly LeBaron, PhD, LMFT
Dr. LeBaron received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and both her Master's and PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has specialized in treating body image issues and eating disorders for over 15 years and is the author of "Some Body to Love: 12 Weeks to a Better Body Image." She is passionate about helping women heal their relationship with their bodies and focus their incredible power and influence into authenticity. She uses a combination of evidence-based therapies, research, compassion, and humor to help her clients heal and grow.
