New Beginnings Therapy was created with you in mind.  We've spent years listening to what makes our clients' experience in therapy the best and most effective.  New Beginnings has been hand-crafted and is improved daily to make you feel comfortable, supported, and heard.  New Beginnings is constantly growing and changing, just like you.  If there is ever anything we can do to make your experience better, don't hesitate to tell us!  Here, your voice matters.

At New Beginnings, we specialize in several important areas:  Women's mental, emotional, and relational health, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image issues, perfectionism and people-pleasing, trauma, and couples therapy for a wide variety of marital and couple issues.

New Beginnings was opened in Logan, UT in September of 2018 by Dr. Carly LeBaron.  Serving the amazing people of Cache Valley runs her blood; her family has been doing business in Cache Valley for 100 years.  Her great-grandfather, Al Larsen, founded Al's Sporting Goods in 1921, just one block away from our office in Century Square.  Her grandfather, Darwin Larsen, founded Al's Trophies & Frames in 1954 and her father, Vint Larsen, still runs it today.  She is incredibly proud to be a 4th generation small business owner here in the heart of Logan.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Carly LeBaron, Ph.D., LMFT

I've been working with my amazing clients for over twelve years starting in Utah County and now in Cache County.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Utah State University (Go Aggies!) and my Master's and Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy at BYU.  I worked in a community clinic, a women's center, and several group private practices before opening New Beginnings.  I also published my first book in 2017, "Shattering the Porcelain: Overcoming Perfectionism and People-Pleasing and Becoming the Real You" and my second book will be launching soon!  I'm completely biased, but I have the best job in the world and it's an honor to meet and work with my clients.

I am married to my best friend and we have three incredible sons and a dog named Bandit.  I love to write, cook, bake, read, go hiking and camping, landscape, and be outside.  I'm a total foodie and yoga enthusiast!  Right now, I'm trying to learn to play the piano and working hard every day to be my authentic self.  Come grow with me!

I have always had a passion for helping others reach their full potential and I am excited to be working my dream job! One of the most important goals for me, as a therapist, is to break the stigma attached to seeking treatment. I firmly believe we are not broken and need fixing, but are hurt and need healing. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah State University. I have had the privilege to work with children, adolescents, and adults in many different settings and have learned working one-on-one is what I enjoy most. I love what I do and am grateful for the privilege I have to work with each of my clients.

Growing up in Texas, I encountered many diverse people with a variety of experiences that now help me in my work. I never imagined I would live in Logan after graduation, but my Cache Valley loving husband somehow talked me into buying a house, so I am here for the long haul. In my free time I love to experiment making new meals and treats, playing games, and attempting to workout. I believe that each day is a new possibility and I look forward to what the future holds.

Candice Hall, MSW, CSW

I have always been passionate about helping others and hearing their stories.  I received both my Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Social Work from USU.  I have had the amazing opportunity to work in a variety of settings with children and adults including hospital settings, nursing homes, and individual and group therapy. I believe that everyone has a story that is worthy of telling and being heard and the bumps we experience along the way on our journey in life do not define us.  My goal is to help all my client’s find tools and strategies that can help them manage bumps in the road. I feel so honored to work and learn alongside my clients during a small piece of their journey.

In my free time I love to play the piano, see theatre performances, and spend time with my incredible friends and family!  Come share your story with me!

Struggles in life are often intimately tied to how we experience our relationship with ourselves, others, and how we make meaning. As a therapist I believe we humans are wired for connection, healing, and purpose. In therapy, I will collaborate with you to find paths to wellness through a compassionate stance.

I am passionate about infusing warmth, creativity, honesty, humor, and current research based methods to help produce desired changes. I access your strengths using approaches including Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and EMDR.

Seeking healing in your life (and subsequently in your relationships) is a brave step. No one should feel like they are navigating difficulty alone. I will be there to provide you the safety, empathy, and support as we create a healing path tailored for you. Please reach out and together we can see if I am the right fit for you.

Anna Rosenbaum, Receptionist

I was born in California and raised in Colorado. I absolutely love Colorado and think it’s the best state. I love the mountains and being in nature. I love being active, so growing up as a dancer was great for me and I still love to do it.

I moved to Logan, Utah to go to Paul Mitchell the School-Logan where I got my Master Esthetician license. I’ve been working at Wana Massage in Tremonton as a Master Esthetician. I love skincare and love to pamper everyone.

I’m currently attending USU and majoring in psychology with a minor in Family and Human Development. I love helping and being there for others. I’ve always been more of a listener than a talker. I want to eventually get my Masters and become a Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m so excited to see what the opportunities are ahead and so excited to be a part of the New Beginnings family!
